You may have heard of the in-game event in Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa where you are tasked to kill the game's creator to end the beta event. Well, here's the priority one mission command from General Darkstarr that explains the situation and authorizes you to kill General British himself.

The command from General Darkstarr outlines the need for the AFS to destroy General British, who has sensitive knowledge of the AFS that the Bane can use against them. Evidently, General British has been implanted with a chip on the frontal lobe of his brain.

General British, who has advanced knowledge of the powerful and destructive Logos, will be hard to take down and it will, as the command describes, take a small army to get him back.

In light of this, members of the AFS are authorized to use lethal force to stop him. Hopefully, the command continues, once his body is back on base, the chip can be removed and perhaps he can even be revived.
