Another week ends for the recruits in Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, and NCsoft's wrap-up falls close behind. The biggest thing that passed seems to be the Rage skill, which came out with a bang because of a bug that escalated its damage bonus to a whopping 105% after the initial cast alone.
As some players would've noticed, Rage does more than its tooltip says. Lead Designer Paul Sage quickly took note, and made appropriate nerfs with the "nerf bat." While the skill is now a fast cast ability, its damage has been greatly reduced. Here's how it works:
- Rage 1: 30% damage self buff
- Rage 2: 30% damage buff w/squad members
- Rage 3: 40% damage self buff – 10% resist bonuses
- Rage 4: 40% damage buff w/squad members
- Rage 5: 50% damage buff w/squad members – 10% resist bonuses
Other changes were seen during the week, such as Soldiers getting more damage from Chainguns and Launchers. A bug that prevented item rarity from increasing damage was also fixed. For the full wrap-up, head over to Tabula Rasa's official website via link below.
