It seems NCSoft's Tabula Rasa has hit a bit of a snag on the way to its release date. According to a message from producer Starr Long on the game's official website, Tabula Rasa will be launched two weeks later than the previously announced October 19 release date. Here is Long's explanation regarding the delay:
This short but critical amount of time will give us time to address several issues including stability and balance as well as allowing our players to test the continent of Ligo (L38+) and our major changes to crafting for a few weeks rather than a few days. Our entire development staff feels this extra time is needed as does our beta community. We feel confident that this extra time will make a difference on launch day. It's good to see that the game's developers are willing to admit that the game's not quite ready and are making an extra effort to deliver as polished a game as possible. The new pre-order headstart date for Tabula Rasa has been set for October 30. Commercial service will commence on November 2.
