Tabula Rasa - Image 1

When playing an MMORPG, one of the greatest goals a player has is to get up to the upper levels. Having a high level always has its appeals: better loot, better equipment, more perks and more secrets unlocked. Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa is no exception of course. So what's in store for the upper levels?

Tabula Rasa lead developer Paul Sage enumerates the various perks more experienced players (literally) will have:
  • On level 40, players will get the option to train for certification in the Personal Armor Units. PAUs will have bonuses in movement, firepower and other different abilities for their class.
  • On hitting level 50 players will acquire the rank of AFS commander and will be able to command their own personal subordinates. Basically you get your own squad you get to bully. "Flashpoints" will need squads to be conquered.
  • A player with a high level can also get to lead their own clan. In turn leaders will get to choose the passive buffs their clan can have
