For those of us eagerly anticipating the release of NCsoft's upcoming title, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, here's a video that should get you up to speed on one of the first instance maps of the game that you'll be able to explore, namely the Caves of Donn. Be warned, as this is no cavern romp, as hidden inside the network of caves lie lost Eloh technology - and you'll be racing against the Bane in order to find it.

So, what is the Caves of Donn? Simply put, it's a place sacred to the Forean people, rumored to be where the Eloh had stashed many of their artifacts. The Foreans themselves are willing to assist in finding these artifacts, as well as fill in any adventurer with knowledge about the Eloh - but even then, it's going to be tough, as even the Bane knows how powerful Eloh technology can be. In the wrong hands, it could mean disaster.

We've seen our fair share of videogame promotion events here at QJ.NET, but none looks as fun (nor as awesome) as the recent Tabula Rasa LOGOS Academy event held in the abode of the legendary Richard Garriot. Not only did the selected few get to meet the man behind some of the industry's most successful ventures, but they got stuck in the middle of an intergalactic war, too!

Well, not exactly an intergalactic war, but the honored guests were treated to a surprise dramatization of what it would be like if the events of NCsoft's Tabula Rasa actually happened. As you'll be able to see in this video, it was during an exhibit of some pretty weird "alien artifacts" uncovered from an undisclosed location that the scene happened, with laser beams and explosions going off all over the place. Awesome, really.

Game developers take notes - this is yet another one of the better ways of how you can promote a game you've worked so hard on. Enjoy the video!

When fighting against somebody, we sometimes think, mostly in jest: can't we all just get along? In the upcoming MMORPG from NCsoft, Tabula Rasa, that is not an option - considering the Bane invaded Earth first. In this new video, we see the just how massive scale Tabula Rasa's war is going to be.

Alien environments, alien... well, aliens, plus the power of the Logos are showcased in to video. We also get a preview of how the war is going to be in-game and by the looks of it, it's going to be massive. Anyway, check out the Tabula Rasa video below to see what we mean.

Since it'll a little over a month before we see Tabula Rasa hit the shelves, it would be best to see the video. It just might tide you over until release.

As a succession to the first walkthrough video to Tabula Rasa, hosted by none other than Richard Garriott himself, we've picked up the another walkthrough video, which now dives into another game aspect of NCsoft's Tabula Rasa. Understand that like one other MMORPG out there, Tabula Rasa can also hold "private" instances away from the war-torn, dynamic battlefield.

The Purgas Power Station is one such instance. Here, a finite number of players can team up and achieve a strategic objective that - although is fought far from the front lines - can turn the tide of war significantly. Taking down the power station's fusion reactor, for instance, will disable the Bane's major defense systems in an entire region in the planet Foreas.

Other things highlighted are optional objectives, plus ways to avoid and overcome certain obstacles without having to exert too much energy on offensive combat. Third video soon to follow.

A lot of people want to know more about NCsoft's Tabula Rasa. This MMORPG has really taken the market by storm and is generating massive amounts of hype from various communities on the internet.

While we could probably tell you a lot about the game, there's no denying that it would be better to hear it from the game's Executive Producer himself, Richard Garriott. He explains the premise of the game then proceeds to give a pretty detailed walkthrough on playing the game.

Slated to be on shelves this October, this game looks pretty awesome. But don't take this blogger's word for it, watch the video and see for yourself.

Plenty of good stuff came out from Gen Con 2007, and this Tabula Rasa video is among the most noteworthy. NCSoft's Community Manager April Burba takes everyone by hand through what the game has to offer. Most features tackled weren't exactly new to anyone keeping tabs on the upcoming MMORPG, but seeing it in action is something else.

Burba discussed a lot of the game's mechanics, such as the ever convenient cloning. Experience multipliers, earned by killing monsters consecutively, made for fast paced combat. Active cameras allow players to get a grasp of the entire battlefield. The video also showcases auto-looting, nifty map controls, and everything under Tabula Rasa sun.

Attention soldiers! We've got a new Tabula Rasa video for you and it will help motivate you for our campaign.

This new Tabula Rasa video is actually a great briefer for the newbie soldiers as it features where it all started. In the trailer, we see just how the invaders took the human race by surprise and how some people were handpicked to fight. "We never saw it coming" is probably the worst thing somebody could say when you're at the business end of a full scale invasion.
