As the first week of NCsoft's new massively multiplayer online RPG Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa winds down, the official Tabula Rasa site rolled out Feedback Friday where important comments and suggestions were highlighted and answered by the developers themselves. Useful information on plans about early bugs, Collector's Edition freebies, and much more were discussed to shed light to subscribers.

With the servers for Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa now open, NCSoft is currently letting those who availed of the Pre-Order headstart trickle in.

It appears there are still a few problems with the log in process, though, but it's nothing that a little patience can't overcome. community manager CuppaJo recently posted the following on IGN's Tabula Rasa Vault:

Everyone should be able to log in now (all the pre-order bonus headstart people). If you have issues, wait about 20 minutes and try again, if that doesn't work, go to support.plaync.com and go to the ask a question area to contact support.

Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa will officially go live on November 2.

Online gaming fans planning to take on Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa by NCSoft should take note of the following pricing information, to better plan your budget ahead of time.

Those who wish to pay by credit card have the following options to choose from:

• US$ 14.99 per month
• US$ 41.85 per 3 months (pay only US$ 13.95 per month)
• US$ 77.70 per 6 months (pay only US$ 12.95 per month)
• US$ 143.40 per year (pay only US$ 11.95 per month)

If you think you're going to like Tabula Rasa enough to keep playing for more than a year, then its a good idea to just go all out and plonk for dough for the US$ 143.40 annual payment.

On the other hand, those who do not wish to use their credit cards can buy the generic PlayNC game time cards. Cards for other NCSoft games such as City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage II can also be used for Tabula Rasa.

UK or European customers take note: if you want to get a non-European version of the game for some reason you may do so. However, charges will be billed in US$, which can get a bit tricky. In addition to that, the non-European version of Tabula Rasa can only access North American servers, so there may be some problems if you want to play with your neighbors.

With the game's release on October 16, it's a good idea to start planning ahead. No one wants to wake up only to find out that his game account is way over due with his account suspended.

The votes are in for the Tabula Rasa Caption contest and the winners have been announced. Recruits Avenger, DeadRinger, Soulie, and Zyphre were listed as the four winners of the PlanetTR Contest.

We showed the finalists for the contest a few days back and a couple of favorites made it to the winners' list. The screen of three guys playing Battleship was especially stitch inducing, though we were crushed when we found that the pedicure shot didn't make it. Anyway, the winners are to be given Beta spots. Tabula Rasa's Community Manager, CuppaJo, has just posted an important reminder regarding invitations to the upcoming beta. So if you're interested in getting into the beta, read on.

CuppaJo announced that they have sent beta invitations to all of their contest winners. No, there's no specific contest being referred to, this announcement covers all the Tabula Rasa contests held by NCSoft. So if you're sure you've won one of their contests one time or another and didn't get an invite, make sure you do the following:

• Check your PlayNC account and verify your email address. This is the email address we would have sent the invite to.
• Check your spam and junk filters. Sometimes mail from PlayNC is filtered by accident.
• Check the contest rules of the contest you won. The contest rules should state explicitly that a Tabula Rasa Beta Slot was a prize.
• If the contest was hosted by someone other than NCsoft, check with the contest sponsor to make sure your info was sent to us.
  

Now, after doing all those things and your invite is still nowhere to be found, you can then contact CuppaJo via cuppajo@ncsoft.com. Just make sure you include the name of the contest you won, your PlayNC account name, and your full name and age.

Here are a few TR updates we've come across that you might find useful. Apparently, the Account section of the PlayNC website will be under maintenance on Thursday, January 11, between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM CST. This means that account creation and management will be unavailable for around two hours. If you're looking to register for beta during those hours, don't. It would be very unwise.

On other news, It seems that the w00t Radio interview with NCSoft's CuppaJo will be delayed until next week. If you're a w00tradio listener, and you're interested with what CuppaJo has to say, then check back next Wednesday 7pm EST at w00tradio.net for the interview.
